Notorious Punjab Gangster Dilpreet Dahan Discharged From PGI; Court Sends Him To 2-Day Police Remand

    Soon after being discharged from PGI on Friday afternoon, gangster Dilpreet Dahan was brought to the district courts here in a Chandigarh police ambulance.
     
     
    The court sent him to a two-day police remand.
     
     
    Dilpreet did not step out of the vehicle after an application was moved for the same owing to his medical condition. He has been booked for attempt to murder and for possession of illegal arms.
     
     
    The gangster was arrested after a dramatic chase near the Sector 43 bus stand on Monday. He was shot in the thigh and was being operated upon at the PGI, Chandigarh. The Punjab Police have already also arrested three aides, including two women, of the gangster.
     
     
    YET ANOTHER AIDE OF GANGSTER DILPREET DAHAN NABBED
     
     
    The Mohali police nabbed another aide of gangster Dilpreet Dahan on Friday from Nangal.
     
     
    Arun Kumar alias Sunny used to arrange hideouts for the gangster across Punjab and Haryana and accompanied him a number of times.
     
     
    Sunny, who has a road construction business, had met Dahan in Patiala jail where Sunny was serving a sentence in a murder case. Sunny was currently out on bail and his name had cropped up during investigation of the current case following Dahan’s arrest.
     
     
    The gangster was arrested after a dramatic chase near the Sector 43 bus stand on Monday. He was shot in the thigh and is being operated upon at the PGI, Chandigarh. Punjab Police have already arrested two women aides of the gangster.
