Surprisingly, the post received strange reactions on Facebook.

“Bhai yeh game harraaam he (Brother, this game is a sin),” wrote a person called Anwar Shaikh.

Another person by the name of Mohd Imran wrote: “Chess is prohibited in Islam.”

“Lage raho Bhaijaan new world new hobby but not accepted Islam this hobby but i liket,” wrote Kamrul Haque.

Mohammad Kaif had an angry reaction to the comments. “What ? Thekeedar ji se poochiye, is breathing haraam or not. Kamaal hai yaar,” he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier, he was also trolled for doing a Surya Namaskar.
