Me Too: Amidst Sexual Harassment Allegations, Tata Sons End Their Contract With Suhel Seth

IANS, 29 Oct, 2018 01:29 PM
Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, has decided to terminate its contract with Suhel Seth in the wake of the #MeToo controversy.

A statement by Tata Sons said: “Counselage’s contract with Tata Sons will end on November 30, 2018.”

Tata Sons said: “The company has decided to prematurely end the contract with Counselage with a one month's notice. Hence, the termination date is November 30. The actual last date of the contract was not shared.”

Also, the company has stopped engaging with his company since the allegations were labelled, it said.

The 55-year-old Seth has been accused of sexual misconduct by many women.

He had been instrumental in building the company after a management crisis arose within the group in 2016, when Cyrus Mistry was removed as the chairman of Tata Sons.
