Jalandhar Man, Mother Allegedly Commit Suicide After 'Harassed' By Wife In Punjab

    A 30-year-old man and his mother have allegedly committed suicide in Jalandar apparently after being harassed by his wife, police said on Monday.
     
    As per the Government Railway Police sources, police found bodies of Raman and Tripti Rani, 50, at Ramnagar railway gate on Monday morning. The bodies have been sent for postmortem at the Sadar Hospital.
     
    The victims resided in Kishanpura area.
     
    As per preliminary enquiry, it is being suspected that Raman's wife, who lives separately, used to harass them, following which they took the extreme step, police said, adding a case has been registered in this regard.
