Four-year-old Raped For Four Months In Ghaziabad

Darpan News Desk IANS, 12 Jan, 2016 12:06 PM
A 65-year-old man was on Tuesday arrested for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl child for the last four months in Ghaziabad, police said.

The incident came to light only on Tuesday when the child complained about the man to her mother.

Police said the child's parents used to leave her at a baby-sitting facility.

After the child complained, the parents took her to a police station, where after medical examination, rape was confirmed.

Police arrested the accused, who is the father-in-law of the woman who runs the baby-sitting facility.

A criminal case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, said Superintendent of Police (City) Ajay Pal.
