‘Forced Click’, Says Manjinder Singh Sirsa On Photo With Khalistani Activist Gopal Singh Chawla At Nankana Sahib

Darpan News Desk IANS, 31 Jul, 2019 07:40 PM

Delhi BJP MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday came out with a clarification after being spotted with Pakistan-based Khalistani supporter Gopal Singh Chawla at Gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan.

Sirsa said the photo of the two was a “forced picture clicked by gunman of Gopal Singh Chawla.

Sirsa tweeted: “I refuse to meet people like him who are anti-India and act as hate peddlers!”

Sirsa was among the Sikh 'Jatha', which left for the shrine, with nearly 500 other pilgrims on Tuesday. He entered Pakistan through Attrai-Wagah border on way to Nankana Sahib in Punjab province of the neighbouring country to celebrate Guru Nanak Dev's 550th birth anniversary.

However, the photo of the two together has stirred a controversy.
