Delhi Police arrest editor of NewsClick; seize phones, laptops of journos

Police in New Delhi, India have arrested the editor of a news website and its human resources chief after raiding the homes of journalists working for the site and seizing their laptops and cellphones.
NewsClick has been critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Hindu nationalist-led government.

In a series of tweets, the Prime Minister said: "India scripts history. At a time when 1.3 billion Indians are marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a daughter of India hailing from a tribal community born in a remote part of eastern India has been elected our President! The shooters were hired by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the main conspirator who confessed that the execution planning of Moosewala was hatched in August last year to avenge the murder of Vicky Middukhera.
