In view of deteriorating air quality and with GRAP-III now in force, the Delhi Metro on Thursday announced that it will run 60 additional train trips across its network starting from Friday. According to Delhi Metro officials, in view of the implementation of GRAP-III stage to combat pollution in Delhi, the DMRC will be further adding 20 extra trips across its network starting from November 3.
A Delhi court on Wednesday recorded the statement of former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar, who is accused in a case related to the alleged killing of a father-son duo during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. As many as 72 bodies have been found in the drains of Noida in the last 9 months, a police official said. The police claim that 60 to 70 percent of the bodies reached Noida through river drains from other states. It has emerged that in most of the cases, the deceased might have been murdered and thrown in these drains.
