Bomb Threat Call At Delhi Metro A Hoax

IANS, 13 Sep, 2015 01:11 PM
An unidentified caller on Sunday triggered alarm bells at a Delhi Metro station in west Delhi after claiming that a bomb was planted inside the premises -- but it ultimately turned out to be a hoax, an official said.

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel carried out a thorough check inside the Patel Nagar metro station and trains but found nothing.

An official at the CISF's Delhi Metro helpline told IANS that the bomb threat call, received at 8.30 p.m., was a hoax.

The Delhi Police were trying to trace the number from which the call was made, he added.
