Darpan News Desk IANS, 15 May, 2014 10:50 AM
The BJP plans a grand welcome for its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi when he comes to Delhi Saturday, shortlisting at least five spots for felicitating him, party sources said.

While his time of arrival in Delhi was not disclosed, BJP sources said party workers and leaders will escort Modi from the airport to the party's national headquarters at 11, Ashoka Road.

On the way, BJP workers have zeroed upon five spots where they will honour Modi. These include Dhaula Kuan, opposite the Maurya Hotel and Sardar Patel Road.

A Delhi BJP leader said they have written to Delhi Police for providing security and for traffic management.

Modi, who will be in Gandhinagar on the counting day May 16, will come to Delhi Saturday for a meeting of BJP's parliamentary board.
