Apology: Wishing Veteran Punjabi Film Actor Mehar Mittal A Speedy Recovery

Darpan News Desk, 11 Oct, 2016 09:13 PM
At Darpan Magazine, we would like to deeply apologize for publishing the unverified story about the demise of veteran Punjabi actor Mehar Mittal earlier today.

We made a mistake. It was not intentional and is regrettable. We sincerely apologize if any offence was caused by our mistake.

Mr Mittal was admitted to hospital after a serious health condition.

Earlier reports suggested that the 82-year old legend was in a state of coma.

Punjabi Singer Sukshinder Shinda took to the social media to share the sad news which appears to be a false (thankfully).

We wish him speedy recovery and good health.

Mittal renowned for superhit Punjabi blockbusters like ‘Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da’ and ‘Long Da Lishkara’, was living in Mount Abu, at the Brahma Kumari Ashram for well over 7-8 years now. He keeps traveling between Mount Abu and Chandigarh.
