Darpan News Desk IANS, 29 Jul, 2016 01:30 PM
A 75-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by two persons near Arnetha village in Rajasthan's Bundi, police said today.

The woman, who was allegedly gang-raped 13 days ago, lodged a complaint against the two accused yesterday, police said.

"The woman alleged that Radhe Shyam and Ramlal of nearby village forcibly took her on a motorbike to an isolated place and raped her," said Shyurajmal Meena, Deputy superintendent of Police, Keshoraipatan police range.

A case has been registered against the two accused under section 376 (B) of the Indian Penal Code, he said adding that the victim was sent for medical examination today.

"Police is also probing why the woman took 13 days to lodge a complaint," Mr Meena added.

None of the accused has been arrested so far as the investigation into the matter is underway, police said.
