A 62-year-old woman was killed by a tiger in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur forest area on Thursday, police said.
Along with another woman, she had gone inside the Ranthambore National Park to fetch water. She was then attacked by the tiger and dragged 500 meters into the forest. Forest officials said the two women had entered a restricted area.
The woman's body has recovered from the forest and handed over to her family.
Rehana Fathima, a telecom technician working in the customer relations section at the Boat Jetty branch in Kochi, was has been transferred to the telephone exchange at Palarivattom.

The accused, Deepak Choudhary, who also goes by the name Deepak Maan, is a resident of south Delhi's Chhattarpur Enclave. During an investigation, it was found that he was a property dealer, not a police official, the police added.
Sajjan Paswan's body was found on Sunday morning at Sah's house, the police said.
