31 Hindu, Sikh Girls Abducted In Pakistan In Last 3 Months, Alleges Sirsa

Darpan News Desk IANS, 03 Sep, 2019 08:07 PM

The Delhi Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has alleged that as many as 31 Hindu and Sikh girls have been abducted in the last three months in Pakistan.

In a video message on twitter, BJP MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa said: “The daughters of Hindu and Sikh families are not safe in Pakistan. I request @AmitShah Ji to address this issue of Love Jihad that is a big emotional harassment for minorities of Pakistan”.

In another tweet, Sirsa also posted a list of girls allegedly being abducted in Pakistan.

Sirsa told that he had compiled the list after taking inputs from a Pakistan-based Sikh community and some media reports.

The MLA’s statement comes at the backdrop of the controversy over a teenage Sikh girl, who was allegedly abducted and converted to Islam before being married to a Muslim man in Pakistan's Punjab province.
