3 Teenagers Allegedly Stabbed For Asking Discount On Joyride Fare In Ghaziabad

    Three teenagers were on Thursday allegedly stabbed by a joy ride owner for asking a discount of fifty per cent on its fare, police said.
     
    Chand, Sharukh and Saleem came to Banzara Chowk in Vijay Nagar after offering Eid prayers.
     
    The accused, identified as Babu Khan, asked them to pay Rs. 20 fare for each one, on which they demanded a discount of 50 per cent. This led to a heated argument and Babu Khan, his son along with staff allegedly stabbed them, City Superintendent of Police Salman Taj Patil said.
     
    They have been referred to GTB Hospital in Delhi for treatment, he said.
     
    An FIR has been registered under section 307 IPC (attempt to murder) and absconders will be arrested soon, he said.
