A 25-year-old man Gurtej Singh, a farmer of village Bhuttiwala here shot himself with a revolver on Friday, while recording the incident live on Facebook.
In the video, Singh accused his uncle, a tehsildar, of transferring their land illegally in his name in 2008, due to which he has taken this extreme step.
The victim accused police of inaction in the video. He also appealed to his friends to share the video so that his parents can get justice after his death.
Singh was admitted to a nearby hospital and till the filing of this report, he was critical.
Rajpal Singh, deputy superintendent of police, Gidderbaha, said the police are investigating the matter.
