CRAIK, Sask. — Rural health care will be the topic of a town hall meeting in central Saskatchewan on Saturday afternoon.
The meeting in Craik comes one year after townspeople went to the legislature demanding better rural health services.
Rural and Remote Health Minister Greg Ottenbreit will represent the government while leaders of the NDP, Liberals, Conservatives and Green Party will also attend.
David Ashdown, a town councillor and chair of the Craik and District Health Committee, says rural health will be an important issue in the upcoming election campaign.
He says it's an issue for all Saskatchewan residents.
The election is April 4.
