It's Official! Men think about sex 19 times a day

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 12 Jul, 2014 01:37 PM
  • It's Official! Men think about sex 19 times a day
Some say every seven seconds while others say basically all the time. But the truth is that the average man has 19 thoughts about sex daily, research reveals.

Using an 'experience sampling' method, researchers from Ohio State University gave people a clicker.

They were were asked to hit one of three buttons on it "sex, food, sleep" every time the thought of one of those things came to mind.

The results study showed that on an average, a man had 19 thoughts about sex in a day.

"However, we were not able to study how long the thoughts lasted or the nature of the thoughts," lead researcher Terri Fisher from Ohio State University was quoted as saying.

However, the fact that they were supposed to be clicking probably made them more aware of their thoughts about their assigned topic than they might otherwise have been, Fisher added.

It is difficult to judge a person's thoughts, no matter what technology people use, researchers concluded in a report appeared in The Atlantic.
