WATCH: The countdown to the Federal Election has begun. Early voting is over. Sept 20th is your last chance to cast a ballot for Canada's 44th general election. Richard Johnston a professor of political science at UBC shares his insights regarding the English language debate, leaders on the campaign trail, what the election polls are showing, and his prediction on what sort of a government we might see for our nation on Monday night.
A consortium of broadcasters will televise the 90-minute debate starting at 6:30 p.m. featuring NDP Leader John Horgan, B.C. Liberal Leader Andrew Wilkinson and Green Leader Sonia Furstenau.
Elections BC says in a statement voters must request their vote-by-mail package on their own and it's an offence under the Election Act to make that request on behalf of a voter.
B.C. Liberal Leader Andrew Wilkinson has called for three televised debates during the provincial election campaign so voters can hear what each party has to offer.
