Wedding Story: Jagraj & Navneet

25 Sep, 2015

    Q: How did you meet?

    We meet in high school.

Q: What do you love most about one another?

Jagraj: We complete each other. We are totally opposite but that’s what makes it work for us. Neetu (Navneet) is proactive and organized; I’m laid back and a last minute type of guy.

Q: Could you share your proposal story?

We don’t really have a proposal story as we always knew we were going to get married. When the time was right we took the step.

Q: Describe your wedding day. What was your favourite moment?

Our wedding day was beautiful. We had planned every little detail and everything went accordingly, so we had no stress whatsoever. We enjoyed every minute and it was a dream come true.

Q: Could you tell us about your reception?

Our reception was awesome. We were on schedule and everything went great. We had practiced a lot for our first dance and it went as planned. We wouldn’t change a thing.

Q: Can you describe your outfits?

Jagraj: Our outfits were all custom-made from Jalandhar, India. Neetu went to India for three weeks with a plan and came back with the most unique outfit ideas ever. All the outfits were bright summer colours and we made sure we matched 100 percent.

Navneet: Joga’s (Jagraj) reception outfit was a custom-made suit from Indochino and it fit him like a glove.

    Q: Where did you honeymoon?

We went to Bora Bora for 10 nights. We spent four nights at Moorea and the rest at Bora Bora. It was an amazing experience. It is truly a paradise, and there can be no better place on earth than Bora Bora for your first official couple vacation.

Q: What are your goals as a couple?

We want to continue living as best friends and help each other build our careers. Neetu wants to excel in her pharmacy career and me in my engineering. We want to be our own bosses one day.

Q: What are the strengths of your marriage?

Our understanding of each other. We know what we are feeling without having to express it in words. We are a couple who not only loves each other but also helps each other grow day by day. We both love to do the same things and love trying new things, especially food.

Q: If you could provide any, what would it be?

Love can’t be forced and it can’t be fake. Everyone fights but what you take from each make up is the lesson of life. Couples should always try to push each other higher and be there for each other no matter what.
