We met in high school at David Thompson Secondary. Vick liked me for about two years before I finally decided to give him a chance (he was very persistent). We started dating in 2003 in grade 10. This September will be 14 years for us.    

Rylan and I met in Gastown the night before I was moving to Kamloops for school. We hit it off right away and in conversation, realized we both shared mutual friends. It was a strange coincidence, because Rylan was from Kamloops and had moved to Vancouver. From that evening, we talked to each other every day until I moved back.  

Don’t take life so seriously and enjoy the little stuff. Don’t stay mad, everyone loses it from from to time. No point stressing the small stuff.

Start early. When we first started planning, about a year and a half ago, we were noticing that a lot of our vendors had “holds” so it was important that we book right away. Spend money on the right things. 

We are both kids at heart. We can laugh together and always have a good time. 

The best thing that we love about each other is the chemistry between us. Regardless of how long or how little time it has been since we met, we get excited every time
