Azra Hussain and Hebah Hussaina are two Surrey community gems honoured as part of the 2021 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100™. 

To keep these stories alive, the onus falls on our community to spark such conversations in the public sphere, stemming from our children. Taking on this leadership role, Steeven Toor has recently authored children’s book, Dosti, portraying the India-Pakistan partition. 

“I started playing seven to eight years ago. Since then, my uncle and I had the dream of me playing for Canada. It took a lot of dedication and commitment to achieve the dream, especially given that there are not many opportunities in Alberta.”, explains Kang

The 25-year-old superstar began playing basketball in elementary school, but didn’t think too much of it at the time. 

Arjan Singh Bhullar secured the MMA world title in May of this year, excelling in the ONE Heavyweight World Championship at ONE Championship: Dangal in Singapore.
