Award-winning and Michelin-Starred Chef Vikas Khanna recently launched his most exotic food book yet, with ‘Khanna Sutra – Food Lessons in Love,’ which was presented earlier this year to President Obama and the First Lady at a White House reception to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Khanna Sutra is beautiful compilation of sumptuous recipes that celebrate the tradition of sensuous eating,” says Khanna.

“With the backdrop of love, I have tried to bring to your kitchen some sutras or lessons that have been developed with passion, yet kept simple to make the recipes special for your loved one. We hear people say ‘cook from your heart,’ but Khanna Sutra is all about letting your heart cook for you.”

Originally from Amritsar, where he learned to cook from his grandmother, Khanna is now a celebrated Indian chef and restaurateur in New York.

He is recognized for his humanitarian efforts and documentary film series ‘Holy Kitchens,’ and has also become a household name as host of MasterChef India and appearances on Martha Stewart, Gordon Ramsay’s Hell Kitchen/Kitchen Nightmares and Throwdown with Bobby Flay.

Khanna’s latest creations are meant to inspire love, and there is no better way to show your love or passion for your partner than through cooking! Here are a few recipes that evoke unusual combinations of flavours creating a bold and sensuous food experience, from Khanna’s kitchen to yours.
