Chef Sadia

Chef Sadia Darpan, 25 Jan, 2024
  • Chef Sadia

Meet Sadia, the visionary behind Pick Up Limes, a plant-based platform founded in 2014 following her graduation and work as a dietitian in Vancouver. Her transformative backpacking journey led her to a chance encounter with Robin, her partner, in Thailand, sparking a series of shared adventures that prompted her to move from Canada to the Netherlands.

She started taking recipe creation more seriously with her newfound time in a different country. While Robin pursued his Ph.D, she dedicated her days to building the Pick Up Limes website and YouTube channel. Pick Up Limes has evolved beyond imagination since its inaugural video in January 2017. Robin joined the team after completing his Ph.D, and their diverse backgrounds in nutrition and engineering culminated in a newly released mobile app.

Pick Up Limes' mission is to share simple vegan recipes that are nutritious, delicious, and visually appealing. Find free content on pickuplimes.com and exclusive material on the Pick Up Limes App, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
