Washington- If you are terrified by maths, install an app that will help you quickly and accurately get over calculations.

Called PhotoMath, "the world's first camera calculator" is a free mobile app that can read and solve maths problems.

Using the smartphone's camera, take a picture of a printed equation and watch the app solve the problem in real time by clicking through problem-solving steps, media reports said.

The app, developed by London-based firm MicroBlink, can be downloaded from Apple's iStore.

The app is optimised to be used for iPhone and iPod.
