Timeless Chand balis get a modern twist

  • Timeless Chand balis get a modern twist
Planning to buy some jewellery? Try Chandbalis created by adornologist and jewellery designer Varuna D Jani, who describes her collection as "a combination of regal past mixed well with contemporary design thereby".

“I have created these Chandbalis taking inspiration from today’s woman and her qualities. She is the trendsetter, known for her confidence and at the same time inclined to her traditions. I wish to transform this 'devi' into a 'diva' without losing her identity,” the designer said in a statement.

“Blending traditions with new age innovative designs, my collection is a treat to the new age woman. Every set is intricately designed to suit different personalities and is not necessarily huge or heavy,” she added.

Studded with precious stones and embedded in white gold, each individual pair exudes a royal touch.

The crescent ornamented with rubies, emeralds and multi-coloured sapphires are made to entice every girl and make her the show stopper on any occasion.

“The collection is the combination of regal past mixed well with contemporary design thereby making each piece timeless. The collection can be beautifully worn with saris, anarkalis and evening gowns,” said the designer.
