This summer, choose sheer fashion all the way

  • This summer, choose sheer fashion all the way

The latest fashion statement is out and everyone has jumped on the bandwagon. It is risque, red-carpet-worthy, Instagrammable, and anyone who wears it will have all the eyeballs at the party.

The sheer magic of a sheer dress is amazing. This trend has gained a lot of popularity lately, especially with celebrities wearing them at different award functions and parties. They tend to make our celebrities a little more bold with their outfit choices.

Sheer can be mixed and matched with a variety of fabrics including tulle, organza, and mesh to add a little flare to the overall look. Who are the people who are sporting this trend currently, you ask? Let us start with Rihanna's iconic bump and sheer black dress at the Paris Fashion Week. The soon-to-be-mother wore a black lingerie gown that was showing her beautiful baby bump.

Take inspiration from these celebrities and try trends this spring. How? Here are six easy and effortless styles that you can try this summer and for added inspiraiton, check out celebrities who have done it all!

Well, here are a few ideas:

1. Ananya Pandey's smokey black beauty

Our Gen Z actress Ananya Pandey is constantly giving us fashion inspiration. She recently wore a bold dress that stopped hearts. A black sheer dress that enhanced her figure and definitely helped her show off her long-toned legs. What made her dress extra special was the embellishments throughout the dress that added extra shimmer to the already-figure-hugging dress. Her plunging neckline only added to her beauty.

2. Zendaya's color infusion

If there is one thing Zendaya has taught us that is to be as fashionable as possible. We love that about the actress. While sheer fashion for a lot of people would mean black dresses, Zendaya taught us how to wear sheer fashion with some colors as well. Zendaya wore a vintage Versace sheer dress in purple which was once worn by Beyonce. Now isn't that a bold choice to make? This plunging purple dress sure gave us a lot of inspiration and is one of the best things that you can try coming summer.

3. Printed Mesh dress:

Want to enter the sheer dress trend but not sure where to or how to begin? Make it casual and easy, throw in a printed mesh dress and pair it with boots or sneakers. Keep the look simple with minimum jewelry. If the look you are going for is a little beyond your regular style, then you can add a solid inner lining that will make you feel a lot easier wearing this dress. If bold is your choice, then go for bold lingerie which makes the look perfect for a day at the beach.

4. Show some skin

Hailey Bieber gave us a lot of inspiration and taught us how to sport a three-piece outfit. What do we need? Well, black lingerie matched with a sheer dress adds a retro feel to your overall look. The model wore a boy short and bralette on top and her expert styling tip was to go monochrome so that her three-piece outfit gives her a totally streamlined look. This dress also looks a little different than a dress as her midriff is exposed almost making it look like a skirt and top. Try this look for an after-party and your dress will automatically turn into a conversation starter.

5. Sheer dresses with jackets

There are different ways to style your sheer dress. It doesn't necessarily have to be all about see-through if that is not what you have in mind. This summer, you can look pretty and cute in an overall printed dress that doesn't reveal it all. Look for an overall printed dress with a little sheer detailing at the hem. Now all you need to do is add a blazer to complete the look. Add some pastel heels, and mild makeup and you are good to go for that summery brunch date.

6. Overalls plus sheer

Yes, you read that right and it is a good combination. Going sheer is a lot less tricky when you choose this option. Wear a transparent top and cover it all up with an overall. Now doesn't that make it all a little less daunting? Bib overalls provide frontal coverage to a see-through blouse but that also makes it easier to go braless in a sheer blouse. Isn't that a great way to test the waters and make sure you feel comfortable?
