Vancouver-based small business introduces three new holiday pieces with a percentage of sales benefitting the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre

Tis the season! Vancouver-based premium dreamwear company, Smash + Tess, today announced the addition of three new holiday-themed pieces to their sleepwear collection. The new holiday items take their inspiration from the brand’s Fall 2016 collection which dropped in early October, but with a festive vibe. The new holiday pieces include two nighties and a robe, and will be available exclusively online at smashtess.com starting this Friday, November 18.

In this season where giving back is at the forefront of people’s minds, Smash + Tess has partnered with local non-profit organization, the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC). From Friday, November 18 to Sunday, December 4, $10.00 from each holiday nightie sold will be donated to the DEWC, which plays a vital role in providing crucial basic services to women seeking refuge and shelter from conditions of poverty and violence in Vancouver’s downtown eastside neighbourhood. It is one of the busiest women’s centres in the country, with up to 500 women and children accessing their services on a daily basis, 365 days a year.

“We’re so excited to be adding three new holiday pieces to our dreamwear collection this year, but we’re even more excited that our two holiday nighties will allow us to work with our Smash + Tess girls to give back to our community,” says Ashley Freeborn, Principal and Managing Director of Smash + Tess. “Our dreamwear is all about empowering and inspiring confidence in women and we’re fortunate to be a in position where we can spread the holiday cheer to those in our community. We’re honoured to partner with the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre on this important initiative, and we’re asking our loyal Smash + Tess girls to join us in giving back through the purchase of these nighties.”

Designed and ethically produced in North America, the two new holiday nighties and the After Glow robe make perfect Christmas gifts and are ideal for anyone looking to add a little festive sass to their sleepwear wardrobe. The holiday additions provide women with a comfortable and stylish option to lounge in at home throughout the holiday season when creating memories and celebrating family traditions are top priorities.

Smash + Tess’ new holiday items will be available for purchase starting on Friday, November 18. To view the Fall Collection in its entirety, visit smashtess.com/shop
