Red carpet fashion trend: Plunging necklines

  • Red carpet fashion trend: Plunging necklines
The most sureshot way to grab eyeballs at a red carpet event is to opt for an ensemble with a plunging neckline.

The trend has been seen at several gala nights and award functions this year.

On the one hand, there was the sheer trend that took the spotlight at the GQ Men of the Year Awards by celebrities Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn, but there were a few known names who opted for plunging necklines too, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Model Cara Delevingne embraced two trends at once at the gala night in her Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 lace dress. The garment not only revealed her innerwear but also added sensuality with her plunging neckline.

Another model, Daisy Lowe looked sleek and sophisticated in her grey tailored jumpsuit that flashed her flesh. Pop star Jessie J also embraced the trend in her vintage Jean Paul Gaultier gown - its colour was bold and beautiful and the plunging neckline redefined her glamour.

English actress Natalie Dormer's key hole cut-out on her Emilio Pucci mini was a little more reserved than these former ladies. Nevertheless, she looked gorgeous.

Plunging necklines take a lot of confidence, and one needs to make the right pick for the best look.
