Plus-size women get a treat from e-commerce site

Darpan News Desk IANS, 31 Jul, 2014 07:48 AM
  • Plus-size women get a treat from e-commerce site
Are you plump and want to shop online?. Try an e-commerce site with a variety of choices for such ladies thereby giving them a reason to smile.

Myntra.com has recently launched a plus-size collection by women’s fashion apparel brand Femella. The collection consists of all the categories in women’s wear with an extensive range of dresses, tunics, tops, skirts and leggings.

The sizes which are being offered are from 3XL to 7XL and the price range starts at Rs.750 and goes up to Rs.1,990.

Ketki Arora of Femella feels that there is a huge desire among non-standard sized consumers to be able to enjoy fashion and to dress well in the same way as those who fit within standard sizes.

“Gauging the demand and lack of styling options available for the healthier body types, Femella is extending its collection with the plus- size range in order to fulfil the gap of this unfocused area,” Arora said in a statement.

Femella will sell this collection exclusively on Myntra.com and also intends to sell at its own online shopping portal and later in other partner portals such as flipkart.com, jabong.com, koovs.com & limeroad.com.
