The Okanagan's LaStella Winery and South Surrey's Tap Restaurant both mark their 10th anniversaries this year. In celebration of the milestone, they'll team up for a memorable four-course dinner paired with La Stella wines on Thursday, June 30th.
Tap is a natural choice for the dinner, as its owner and Executive Chef, Alistair Veen, is himself a celebrated wine expert and the restaurant's Wine Director. In 2016 Veen was named Best Sommelier of BC by CAPS-BC (the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, BC Chapter) at the Vancouver International Wine Festival. He will join Rasoul Salehi, LaStella Managing Partner and Director of Sales and Marketing, in speaking on the wines and pairing of food courses at the event.
The celebratory evening will start with cocktails and canapés as guests arrive. The menu for the four-course dinner that follows will be paired with premium LaStella Winery wines, some of which are exclusive library wines.
