One of Australia’s oldest family owned wineries is excited to release a certified organic wine under a brand new “Organic” label designed specifically for the Canadian market with immediate availability in the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO).

The 2015 Angove Organic Cabernet Sauvignon is the latest addition to the 130-year-old Angove Family Winemakers portfolio and illustrates that its desire to continually innovate and present new wines to an ever changing market place is as strong as ever.

Angove Export Manager, Mark Ramm, said the winery was pleased to be working so closely with such an important customer in the Canadian market place and hoped that this release would lead to a strengthened Organic offering for all Canadian consumers going forward.

“We see many opportunities for great tasting, reasonably priced organic wines in the Canadian marketplace. Organic produce in general is one of the fastest growing consumer categories and it is fantastic to get an early position in this segment of the market.”

Tony Ingle, Angove Chief Winemaker, added, “The grapes for this wine have been grown in the family’s Certified Organic Nanya vineyard and vineyards of other carefully selected growers and then gently crafted by the Angove winemaking team. Achieving organic certification is a stringent and complicated process but a process to which we are strongly committed.”
