The 32nd Annual IndoHoops Canada National Tournament takes place from July 6-8 at BC Prep in Surrey, British Columbia. This year’s tournament will feature 5 Elite Division teams, 10 Community Division teams and a Women’s Showcase Game. The organizers and tournament sponsors Telus, Diamonds by Dal, Sports Unlimited and Northern Lights Studio welcome players from throughout British Columbia, California, Washington State and Toronto to this year’s event.
The 2018 tournament will consist of over 60 current and past college/university players. The Men’s Elite Division will feature 4 players who recently played in the NCAA. Jash Kahlon is currently at San Francisco State University and Jaden Narwal is at New York University. Manroop Clair returns from Seattle University to lead the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds and Sukhjot Bains returns from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to lead the University of Fraser Valley Cascades this Fall. There will be a total of 7 additional current university/college players in the Elite Division. The Women’s Showcase Game will also feature 5 university/college players.
The Tournament tips off at 6pm on Friday (July 6) and games will run until 11pm. Saturday games begin at 10am and will conclude at 8pm.
Championship Sunday starts with the Community Division Elite 8 at 8am. The Women’s Showcase Game will be held at 3pm. It will be followed by the Men’s Community Division Final (4pm) and the Men’s Elite Division National Championship Game at 5pm.
Admission is FREE all weekend.
