A study in fun: KPU's Surrey Open House is back

KPU Surrey05 Mar '16 @ 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Take a selfie, have some fresh popcorn, learn about brewing and enjoy live jazz music at Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s (KPU) eighth annual Surrey Open House.

Canada’s leading polytechnic university will open its doors to future students and families on March 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Take a campus tour, attend information sessions, engage in interactive exhibits, win prizes and more. You could even win free tuition if you’re lucky enough to take home one of three $500 tuition waivers.

While registration is not required, it is recommended as the event caters to over 1,000 visitors each year. Registration is open atkpu.ca/openhouse and if guests sign-up before March 1, they get an additional chance at some early bird prizes.

KPU Surrey is a hub of creativity and inspiration, and on Saturday, guests can connect with instructors, students and alumni, learn the science behind flames dancing to the latest music, try on an airbrush tattoo and get their hands dirty with some screen-printing. It’s a day of fun activities and prizes, including giveaways for tweeting and instagramming with the hashtag #KPUOpenHouse, which can be followed for updates leading up to and during the event.

KPU Surrey is located at 12666-72nd Ave. Parking for this special event is free. For more information, contact the KPU Future Students’ Office at 604-599-3030 or email openhouse@kpu.ca
