  • 18th Annual Student Achievement Awards
The Indo-Canadian Business Association’s 18th annual Student Achievement Awards. The 2017 awards will include 3 additional recognition awards to the unsung heroes of our community. 
 
What: The ICBABC’s annual Student Achievement Awards support outstanding students as they further pursue their academic endeavours within a post-secondary institution. The vision of the awards program is to invest in and develop strong leaders who demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, a moral force of character, instincts to lead, and commitment to intellectual and personal development. 
• Raise and distribute scholarship funds in 2017 
• 13 scholarships at $2,000 each 
• 10 Scholastic awards 
• A Male and a Female Athlete Award 
• A Special Needs Award 
• 3 Awards of recognition to Unsung Heroes of the Community 
• In 2016, we began to work with SFU to promote and expand the Punjabi Language and culture program and will continue this in the coming years. 
 
Where: Royal King Palace and Convention Centre, 8158 128 St, Surrey, BC 
 
When: May 05, 2017, at 6 p.m. 
 
The dinner will include a silent auction of donated items, a dinner, a speech by keynote speaker, award presentation, and performances. We will also be recognizing outstanding companies which have continued to support this worthy cause.
