South Asian Women’s Network Group hosts Fertility Info Session

Genesis Fertility Centre30 Jan '18 @ 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • South Asian Women’s Network Group hosts Fertility Info Session
With the average age of a woman’s first pregnancy in BC recently surpassing 31, egg freezing and fertility treatments are a viable option for reproductive or family planning. On Tuesday, January 30 from 7:00pm – 8:30pm, the Be Your Own Best Friend (BYOBF) Network is teaming up with Genesis Fertility Centre to present Fertility Info Session: What Are Your Options.

This information session by Genesis’ Medical Directory, Dr. Sonya Kashyap will cover the medical and practical aspects of freezing eggs and fertility options and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask individual questions, learn about the benefits, how the process works and who makes a good candidate.  Whether you have struggled with fertility already or are considering fertility preservation, this is a great opportunity to get your questions answered by a renowned fertility doctor in a casual environment.

Egg freezing enables more freedom for women by providing the best chance of having a family when ready — whether that’s upon completion of education, reaching a certain career stage, or finding the right partner. If you’ve tried IVF before and it didn't work and are interested in learning more about the process and timelines this info session will provide opportunities to learn more about the services available. Whether you are in the beginning stages of learning about infertility or have experienced disappointing outcomes from previous treatments, this is a great session for you to get your fertility questions answered in a relaxed atmosphere.

Attend the event on January 30th at 7:00pm at Genesis Fertility Centre, 1367 West Broadway, Unit 300, Vancouver, B.C. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $10 from https://www.meetup.com/Be-Your-Own-Best-Friend-South-Asian-Womens-Networking/
Event Location Genesis Fertility Centre
Address: 1367 West Broadway, Unit 300
Post Code: V6H 4A7
