Surrey Civic Theatre10 Mar '18 @ 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
  • Sahara Services presents Maile Haath
Sahara Services and Gurdip Arts Academy presents Maile Haath, a play on sexual abuse at the Surrey Civic Theatre on March10, 2018 at 6.30 pm.

Maile Haath is a story that follows a young woman’s journey alongside her family, as they learn to understand and cope with sexual abuse. Sexual abuse is an issue that lacks certain awareness; the play tackles difficulties and barriers that may arise through the characters, that they each face individually and together as a family.

The story highlights certain cultural and societal pressures that amplify the impact on not only the survivor but towards the family. Maile Haath aims to shed light on just some of the effects that sexual abuse may have on an individual’s life and those around them.

Tickets available at Kamal’s Video Palace and online at Surrey Arts Centre
Event Location Surrey Civic Theatre
