Goldcorp Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre10 May '18 @ 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Marketing Event Will Explore “The Deeper Why?”
In 2018, marketers are overwhelmed with choice, demands and expectations. How does one focus on what matters? That question, and the answers it evokes, will be discussed in detail at this year’s VISION 2018 marketing conference, being held at the BMO Theatre Centre Goldcorp Stage, 162 West 1 st Avenue in Olympic Village on May 10 th 2018.

The challenge for marketers is how to have an impact on their audience and deliver meaningful results for their organization, in a fast-paced, tactics-obsessed world. The keynote speaker at the event is internationally-known, London-based marketing thought-leader Rory Sutherland, Vice Chair of Ogilvy & Mather Group and TED Talks speaker with millions of online views. His talk for VISION on the Quest for the Deeper Why will aim to get to the heart of the “Why” behind human behaviour and how this relates to marketing. Hear from Rory about his VISION 2018 presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T_Cg67e8Yg.

VISION 2018 will give marketers and entrepreneurs the space to consider the Why that drives them, their organization and their audience, in addition to the elements that go into their role a a marketer such as teaming, technology and leadership.

Other speakers at this one-day event will be:
• Mo Dhaliwal, Director of Strategy at Skyrocket
• John Ounpuu, Co-founder and Principal at Modern Craft
• Adam Collins, VP of Strategy at Cossette
• Jurgen Watts, Global Digital Marketing Manager at Arc’teryx
• Sarah Dickinson, Founder and Organizational Designer at THNK

Attendees will leave with new mindsets, broader perspectives, and effective tools to apply to their work today and in the future."
