FVGSS presents The Little Mermaid-The Panto

Surrey Arts Centre23 Nov '17 to 03 Dec '17 @ 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM
  • FVGSS presents The Little Mermaid-The Panto
FVGSS returns for its 36th season with another fun filled musical extravaganza, The Little Mermaid-The Panto.

Meet mermaid Calypso, her friends Katy Periwinkle and Shellie the Crab. Young Calypso is obsessed with the world above the waves. This causes problems in the undersea world ruled by the sea witch Ursula, especially since Calypso is a mermaid. Even worse, she has fallen in love with a human prince she rescued from a terrible storm! Calypso is determined to find a way to be with her love, even if it means leaving the sea and making a deal with evil Ursula. Will Calypso's many friends, like Shellie the Crab and Katy Perrywinkle and of course her helpful, if slightly menacing Codfather be able to turn the tide in her favour? Will Prince Airwick-the Solid save her or perhaps Don Cod-Leone?

All these adventures while Crab Calloway and his band keep us rolling under the sea with some 20 songs and dances.
