Guest news is coming in hot and fast for the upcoming Fan Expo Vancouver (FXV), taking place Family Day Weekend February 15-17, 2020 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West. Chandler Riggs, known for his role as “Carl Grimes” in The Walking Dead (2010-2018) will be making his first appearance at FXV, appearing all three days. He is currently a recurring character on ABC’s A Million Little Things. Joining him will be LeVar Burton, known famous to nerd-kind as “Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge” in Star Trek: The Next Generation and to bookworms for his enduring series Reading Rainbow. He is also known for Roots, and many cameo appearances over the years.

Guest news is set to continue in the coming days as the countdown to FXV continues! Fans can meet their favourite stars at Photo Ops and autograph signings, and see them live on stage during Spotlight Panels.

Recently several celebrity guests have been added to the roster, including legendary Canadian-born creator Todd McFarlane (“Venom”, “Spawn”, and more), Gianarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad), Corey Feldman (The Lost Boys, The Goonies, Stand By Me), Christina Ricci (The Addams Family, Casper, Sleepy Hollow) and Tom Welling (“Clark Kent”, Smallville) will appear, along with two voice actors from the hit series My Hero Academia: Justin Briner, “Izuku ‘Deku’ Midoriva” and Chris Sabat, “All Might” (who is also known as the voice of “Vegata” in Dragon Ball Z).

Fan Expo Vancouver is expected to welcome tens of thousands of fans February 15-17, 2020 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West. The three-day event features over 25,000 square feet of pop culture fun for every kind of fan: guests can browse hundreds of artists and vendors selling everything from custom art and vintage collectibles to the hottest pop culture swag, meet their favourite stars and creators, take in over 50 hours of on-stage and interactive programming, and enjoy the epic cosplay of their fellow attendees (or cosplay themselves!). Returning fans will notice new features like the Cosplay Red Carpet, Podcast Alley, and an interactive Family Zone, perfect for fans of all ages and families celebrating the Family Day long weekend in true fan fashion.

Tickets are on sale now via www.fanexpovancouver.com. For the first time, FXV tickets will be available at early bird rates until January 31, 2020 with great discount options for youth and family passes.
