Natural plant-based chef Nettie Cronish, author of six best-selling Canadian cookbooks, will be exploring the robust and unique cuisine of India during a special free event taking place Monday, March 13, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Vancouver Public Library. 
 
Dive into this ancient culinary tradition as Cronish simplifies the staples of Indian cooking. From coconut milk to chickpea flour to curries, attendees will discover the building blocks used to create memorable, authentic Indian dishes, along with the chance to win a signed copy of Cronish’s latest cookbook! They will also enjoy a stunning audio-visual presentation showcasing the incomparable beauty and cuisine of India, a country that has been at the cultural and culinary forefront for hundreds of years. 
 
Nettie Cronish is a Toronto-based chef, culinary instructor, and cookbook author with more than 25 years experience developing simple yet delicious vegetarian meals. She is the author of six best-selling Canadian cookbooks, including Nourish: Whole Food Recipes Featuring Seeds, Nuts & Beans, and Flex Appeal: A Vegetarian Cookbook For Families With Meat-Eaters.
