Vikram Vij is teaming up with the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society to participate in Dine Out Vancouver for the very first time.
Rather than the Vij’s family of restaurants doing a traditional Dine Out set menu for the duration of the event, this will be a one-time, single evening of Indian food, culture and celebration, at the former Vij’s restaurant location at 11th and Granville on January 26th 2016.
“We wanted to do something a little different,” says Vij, co-owner of the iconic restaurant. “We will be presenting a long table, family-style dinner, and singers and dancers from the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration will be providing some incredible colour and entertainment.”
The VIBC Society and the Vij’s team have been working together on making this event a special and traditional experience. “We are honoured to be working with Vikram Vij,” says Nicole Sirockman, General Manager of the VIBC Society. “It’s going to be a shoulder shrugging, hand clapping, enjoyable night.”
This three-course dinner costs $150 per person, and includes a welcome cocktail and paired beverages. It also covers the live entertainment, tax and gratuity (additional beverages will be charged extra). Ticketing fee is not included. Reservations for this limited seating event is now open.
