Vancouver Baby and Family Fair

Vancouver Convention Centre28 Oct '17 to 29 Oct '17 @ 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Vancouver Baby and Family Fair
From learning about safe stem cell storage and the importance of it to how to easily integrate cooking healthy meals with your kids even when it seems like the schedule won’t allow for it, the 16th annual Vancouver Baby & Family Fair is bursting with new educational presentations, a kid-star-studded entertainment line-up and opportunities for kids, parents and those who love them to celebrate families.

On October 28 and 29, the Vancouver Convention Centre East Facility Hall C will come alive with entertainers who include none-other than kid favourites Bob the Builder and Paw Patrol. Fair attendees can take part in interactive displays, shop the best in household necessities and family must-haves and listen to a wide range of speakers who are both informative and entertaining.

Among the list of presenters is none-other than astrologer, music therapist and guitarist Michael Moon. Diagnosed with chronic health issues and autism as a child, Moon came to realize his need for quietude and solitude was more about finding ways to cope and turning that into something positive rather than labelling his challenges as a problem. Today he even combines his art and astrology background to teach families about what their babies’ astrological signs tell them about their babies’ future interests and even what kind of behavior to expect as they get older.

“Imagine getting some extraordinary insight into what your baby will be like when he or she gets a little older?” says Fair Producer Virginia Ritchie. “No matter if you believe in astrology or not, who wouldn’t want to hear that kind of wisdom as it could prove so helpful with guiding your children later in life?”

Whether you have a toddler, a baby or a bump, this family event will provide you with an opportunity to shop specifically for products for your entire family under one roof. You will also have an opportunity to talk with professionals who can help to answer your questions.

“We’re really excited about this year’s list of exhibitors and presentations that address trending topics and consequently what matters most to our discerning attendees,” says Ritchie. “And we realize it needs to be an event that their children can be excited about as well so have packed in the best in children’s entertainment and interactive displays.”

Today, communities across Canada have little knowledge of the role Indians played in World War I and the shared history with their Canadian counterparts. Lest we forget, IMFC plans to commemorate those that lost their lives on the Western Front. To mark the centennial of the landing of Indian Troops in France in September 1914 a series of upcoming free events is planned for this Fall
