Western Canada’s largest pet show is returning to Abbotsford this year with exciting new attractions and exhibitions for Greater Vancouver pets and their humans. Featuring competitions like DockDogs and the President’s Choice SuperDogs star search, guests and well-behaved pets are welcome to explore interactive seminars and demonstrations by veterinarians and top animal behavioural experts. With rabbit and dog agility shows, raptor shows, dancing dogs and llama meet and greets, this year’s event is a “can’t-miss” for animal lovers of all ages. If you wish to bring your dog to the Pet Lover Show, you must fill out a Guest Animal Waiver and bring it to the show in order to enter with your dog.
Running until January 2 in 2017, the travelling exhibition, on loan from the Royal Ontario Museum, spans Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Tibet.
This engaging public event provides a fascinating insight into the traditions and values of Hermès in the crafting of fine objects; a presentation that encourages interaction by giving visitors in Vancouver the opportunity to meet and exchange with the Hermès artisans and experience first-hand their unique savoir-faire.
Expect to see and hear a selection of North American and West Coast audio show debuts over the event weekend, along with some excellent demonstrations full of expert advice.
This provocative exhibit features a series of highly detailed, incredibly amplified images of industrial buildings and subject matter that is very much a part of cultural and political discussion today.
