Cascadia Wedding Show

The Shipyards in North Vancouver03 Nov '19 @ 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Green is the new white! Those seeking inspiration when planning for the big day won't want to miss the Cascadia Wedding Show, taking place on November 3rd at The Shipyards in North Vancouver, BC. Produced by Clearwater Events & Weddings, the highly-anticipated event holds the distinction as the only sustainably focused wedding show in Canada.

This year the Cascadia Wedding Show is enchanting The Pipe Shop, one of Vancouver's most coveted wedding venues where 9,000 square feet effortlessly marry industrial chic with heritage design, and The Wallace, an exquisite indoor/outdoor event space, boasting a romantic terrace and open-concept design, with two fashion shows featuring sustainable wedding dresses and attire, creative workshops like brush letter calligraphy, beauty touch-ups, and budgeting for a zero-waste wedding, and a panel discussion where industry experts will share tips and tricks for planning a socially-conscious wedding.

Cascadia Wedding Show is proudly sponsored by Vancity to introduce a variety of industry-changing vendors at this year's event. Beauty exhibitor include Skoah and Green Beauty Collective showcasing Elate Cosmetics; bridal exhibitors such as Silviyana Weddings; delicious delectables and drinks by Larry's Market and Lavish Liquid; Dang Good Booths to catch the best selfie angles; and many more wonderful activations and vendors.

"We are thrilled to return with our second annual Cascadia Wedding Show to educate and inspire people to plan their own socially conscious weddings," says Natasha Thom, owner and lead planner. "We want to show people you can plan an unforgettable wedding without the amount of waste these types of events typically create. We want to erase the notion behind zero-waste and sustainability by educating guests that through small active changes we can all make impactful movements to the planet. All it takes is a bit of knowledge and support to take action."

Cascadia Wedding Show takes place Sunday, November 3rd from 1pm to 6pm at The Shipyards in North Vancouver: The Pipe Shop (115 Victory Ship Way) and The Wallace (125 Victory Ship Way). An updated event schedule is available at
