Tiller’s Folly stomp the Studio stage at Surrey Arts Centre

    Canadian Celtic power trio, Tiller’s Folly stomp the Studio stage at Surrey Arts Centre. The award-winning acoustic roots group comprised of Bruce Coughlan, Nolan Murray, and Laurence Knight weave adventurous stories of the Pacific Northwest through their rousing rhythms and breathtaking ballads.

    Salsa in Surrey shakes things up October 26 with La Orquesta Santa Lucia LFR. Unique Latin sensibilities with plenty of rock, a shot of salsa, a shed load of funk, and some high-speed Nicaraguan cumbia. The evening starts with a mini salsa lesson.

    February 22 is a party, a revolution, and an adventure through different traditions with the Afro-Celtic Funk fusion of Soulsha. The band brings together some of Boston’s top musicians in Scottish, West African, and Funk music to create a sound

    Come Dancing series finale Caribbean Night in Surrey, April 25, promises a cultural extravaganza, with Soca and Limbo lessons, and a chance to try steel drums.

    Salsa in Surrey and Caribbean Night are co-presented with FUSIONpresents and the Surrey Music City Centre, an initiative supported by the Surrey Board of Trade helping to create a vibrant and diverse local music industry.
