    Padma Bhushan, Sahitya Academy Award & Dada Saheb Phalke Award winner SAMPOORAN SINGH KALRA aka GULZAR Sahab is a winner of Four National awards, one Academy award, one Grammy award, 21 Film Fare awards and numerous other State & International awards during his illustrious career of over 55 years in the Indian film industry .

     

    Producer, Director, Writer, Scriptwriter, Poet & Lyricist, Gulzar Sahab has made classics like AANDHI, MAUSAM, MERE APNE, PARICHAY, KHUSHBOO, KOSHISH, KINARA, ANGOOR, LEKIN, IJAAZAT, MACHIS and TV Serials like MIRZA GHALIB & KIRDAAR amongst others which have made him the darling of millions around the world.

     

    Acknowledged as one of the finest Urdu & Punjabi author, he's the husband of acclaimed actress RAAKHI GULZAR and father of prominent director MEGHNA GULZAR. A favourite of ghazal singer JAGJIT SINGH & music director R.D.BURMAN, Gulzar Sahab has written numerous popular songs like Humne Dekhi Hai Un Aankhon Ki Mahekti Khushboo..., Chal Chhaiyya Chhaiyya Chhaiyya Chhaiyya..., among others which have endeared him to young & old alike.

     

    Coming for his first ever tour of North America, KVP Entertainers is extremely proud of presenting Gulzar Sahab to his only Canadian city stop in Vancouver on Sunday, September 15, 2019, for what promises to be an evening of enchantment as Gulzar Sahab in conversation with prominent author & poet DR. RAKSHANDA JALIL and accompanied by Mumbai Singers & Musicians will transport us all to the world of Poetry, Ghazal & Film Music of Golden Era.
