Now in its 7th year, Goh Ballet’s The Nutcracker will feature performances by both local and international professionals, including Principal Dancers from the San Francisco Ballet as well as the Pacific Northwest Ballet, with choreography by the iconic Anna-Marie Holmes. Musical accompaniment for these world-class performances will be performed by members of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, led by the incomparable Leslie Dala, with lighting design by Canadian Pierre Lavoie.
The Nutcracker is one of the world’s most recognized ballets, cherished by both children and adults alike. Originally scored by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, the Nutcracker debuted in 1892 and has since become a tradition for the holiday season, beloved by families across the world.
