Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) is pleased to announce that Canada’s Minister of National Defence, Honourable Harjit Singh Sajjan will be the keynote speaker at The Black Tie Affair, an upcoming gala event to support PICS Diversity Village.
an urgently needed senior care home based on the latest state-of-theart model of care. The home will deliver customized services for each patient, respecting their culture and lifestyle and giving them a home away from home.
“We are very excited to have Minister Harjit Singh Sajjan join us as our keynote speaker as we move forward to raise funds for PICS Diversity Village. Despite his busy schedule, the Minister has agreed to support this cause and this clearly demonstrates his commitment towards the community and his strong belief in the concept of seva (service to humankind),” said PICS CEO Dr. Charan Gill.

The Black Tie Affair will be an elegant evening featuring fine dining, a cocktail reception, live entertainment as well as a unique silent and live auction, and will be held at Aria Banquet and Convention Centre, 12350 Pattullo Place, Surrey, BC, on February 27, 2016.
