Every child should wake up to a toy on Christmas morning. This holiday season, seven year old Ryley and four year old Chloe are doing their part to make that happen in Surrey. On Saturday, November 26th 2016, Ryley and Chloe will be holding their 3rd annual “funraizer” to collect toys and donations to give to the Surrey Christmas Bureau.
This year the funraizer will be a Spaghetti dinner, held at Knight & Day Restaurant at 9677 King George Boulevard. The dinner will run from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, and guests can arrive and leave as they please. However, guests are encouraged to stay till the end of the event so they can enter their name in a raffle to win a gift basket of prizes.
Tickets for the dinner cost $12 and can be purchased at the Downtown Surrey BIA office in person or by calling 604. 580.2321. In addition, Ryley and Chloe request all guests bring a toy or cash donation to give to the Surrey Christmas Bureau.
Why is the event called a “funraizer” you ask? Ryley says it is because “toys are fun”!
If you can’t make the event on Saturday, feel free to drop off a toy or donation to the Downtown Surrey BIA office and we will make take it with us on Saturday.
